Section 1
10 to 12 feet deep and slow moving throughout, containing bream, perch and roach. There are also some large pike (biggest landed 33lb) and
carp. During winter chub are caught.
Section 2
Similar to Section 1, slow moving throughout, containing bream, perch and roach. There are also some large pike and carp. During winter chub are caught as well.
Section 3
River starts to shallow as you go upstream on this section. All swims have platforms.
Dominant species are roach, skimmers and perch, with some large chub.
Section 4
Generally 4- 8 ft deep, a good mixed stretch with barbel, chub, bream, roach and perch.

Section 5
Generally 4 – 6ft deep and quite narrow at the upstream end, another mixed stretch with chub the dominant species.
There is no access to section 5 at Rawlings farm anymore.
You will need to park at the top end of Eastern Avenue on the road. From there you will need to use the public footpath to walk to the river.
Section 6
Starting to shallow up with some deep glides and runs. Dominated by big chub and barbel, with some significant roach and perch .
Not unusual for the odd bag of skimmers as well. No prepared swims, a very natural environment.

(left hand bank only as you would look down river) only.
There is No access from the new road Peckingell side.

Mainly shallow with some deep glides and runs. Dominated by big chub and
barbel, with some significant roach and perch.
Kellaways and Peckingell map
There is no post code for peckingell car park. This is the closest code: SN15 3RL. There is a very tight bend and the track is opposite that is marked on the map. The car park is down the lob track. The track can get quite warn and bumpy so please drive slowly. There is a coded gate to get through, number is in the licence sheet. The gate is closed at all times. There is only access for the farmer and the fishermen

Burbrook holds a good head of Carp, Roach, Perch, Bream, Chub, Rudd, Tench and some Crucian Carp can be caught.
